• Beginning African Hairstyles

  Cost: $25.00

  A course in African hairstyling for beginners.  It is ideal for people who are just starting out, new parents of African children, and cosmetologists who don't need to re-study professional hair science but wish to expand their repertoire.  It covers African hair care, cornrows, basic hair extensions, and some hairstyle patterns and ideas to help you turn the techniques you learn into beautiful styles.

• Caring for African Hair

    

  A free online course in the care and maintenance of curly to super curly hair.
• Braiding in Festivals

  Cost: $10.00

  An online course for professional braiders on how to make money by braiding in festivals.  We cover sanitation on the go, quick styling, and various issues that come up with running what's basically a mobile salon.
• Professional Natural Hairstylist

  Cost: $2500.00

  This is a full 30 weeks course in professional natural hairstyling.  It covers everything from African hair care through professional hair weaving techniques.

  It is ideal for those preparing for the natural hairstylist exam, or who live in unregulated or low regulation areas, and need professional training.

  You will need a digital camera or scanner to take this course.

• Polymer Clay Dreadlock Beads

  A free course in which you can learn how to make beautiful and durable dreadlock beads from oven bakable polymer clays such as Fimo and Sculpey or others.

The Learning Center is back, but unfortunately, I was not able to import all your user information.  So everyone needs to make a new account. The new system is in more dependable software (Moodle) that is included in my hosting service, so if something goes wrong, it can be easily fixed this time. I apologize for any inconvenience the crash of the former Learning Center caused.  By the way, those of you who were already in the Braiders' Grimoire do not need to pay again.  Just create a new account, and send me an email.  I still have your receipts.
